What Part Do I Need to Repair My Device?

There are generally three different significant components which may be required to repair and replace a broken Huawei Honor screen. Here's an easy breakdown of how you'll know what you might need.

  • When dropped, your Honor 8 or Honor 7X may get a cracked screen. If there are no damaged pixels and beneath the screen the touch functions seem to be behaving correctly, you will generally only need to replace the glass face of the phone.
  • If you see dead pixels, non responsive areas, or have images burned into the screen, you will likely need to replace the LCD part of the phone's display. When you replace the LCD component, you're replacing the screen underneath the glass which displays its software.
  • If the software on your phone is not responding, and there was damage to the front display of your phone, you may need to replace the digitizer behind the LCD face. The digitizer creates the display from the internal computing components for the LCD to display.
