• Toyota NZ Family: The first generation of Scion engines manufactured between June 2003 and December 2006 are part of the NZ family. Compared to the NZ family, AZ has plastic, built-up, and vibration-welded intake manifold. The manifold integrates a large plenum chamber that also includes a 1.3L resonator.
