Great phone with no major issues!

I work in a tech support queue for a major Bluetooth headset manufacturer. Most of the calls I get regarding connection problems are Android phones. The second most problematic phone is iPhone. Everyone I speak to that has owned a Windows phone has no real complaint so I figured I would try one. I purchased this phone and I must say I love it. Wifi connection is a little week when updated to 8.1 Cyan but, still works reasonably well. Speech recognition function works well for web, email, text and calling contacts. The speech recognition works quite well via Bluetooth headset and, if you have a wideband headset, the phone with read your text messages and allow you to reply by simply waiting for the prompt tone and say "reply". It will then say "please state your message" and then read it back to confirm before you say "send". Apps that are available may be few for those who game or do other things on the phone but, since I do not, this phone is perfect for me. After all, it is a phone and that is what I use it for. This is larger and heavier than most but you get used to it. All in all, an excellent value!

Best deal on Windows Phone

If you are looking for a quality, yet affordable phone option, go with any of the Nokia Windows phones. I chose this model for my wife as it has an excellent camera. My phone was the lower model, which has a lower pixel camera and also does not have the front camera (you know, for selfies!)
