Red-Eyes Black Dragon Individual Yu-Gi-Oh Cards

Debuting in 1999, the Yu-Gi-Oh Trading Card Game and Original Card Game has released thousands of cards in various different sets, one of which was the Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Ever since its first appearance in the original Yu-Gi-Oh manga and anime, the Red-Eyes Black Dragon card has been the centerpiece for dozens of different deck types throughout the games lifespan. Players looking to add one to their collection have many options on how to acquire this card, either in a booster pack, preconstructed deck, or as singles.

How many copies of Red-Eyes Black Dragon can you use?

Like any card in Yu-Gi-Oh, players can only use up to three copies of a single card in their deck at a time. This goes for Red-Eyes, too. However, the Red-Eyes archetype is unique in that there are several related cards that can take on the Red-Eyes Black Dragon name while in play by using their effects, essentially letting you use more than three of the same card.

What decks or packs was the Red-Eyes card included in?

Red-Eyes and its support have been released in a multitude of decks and packs over the years, first appearing in Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon in English. Other packs like Legendary Duelists and Dark Legends, as well as special releases like the Legendary Collection and Legendary Decks II, have all featured this card. As the signature card of Joey Wheeler in the series, it was also available from the starter deck themed around the cards he used.

What rarity is Red-Eyes Black Dragon available in?

Like with many older cards in Yu-Gi-Oh with many reprints, there are many different rarities that singles of Red-Eyes Black Dragon could be. Originally, it was released as an Ultra Rare in Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon, with several other sets featuring this rarity, too. It was a Secret Rare in Booster Pack Collectors Tins 2002 and a Super Rare in Dark Beginning 1 and Duelist Pack: Battle City. The Millennium Pack and several other sets feature it as a Common card, while it is a Rare in Dark Legends. The Duel Terminals gave out this card as both Duel Terminal Rare Parallel Rare and Duel Terminal Common Parallel Rare depending on the wave it came from. Finally, the special rarity of Prismatic Secret Rare was only available as a promo card included in the Power of Chaos: Joey the Passion video game.
