Samsung Galaxy S8+

I've had several smart phones over the last 5 years. Mainly BLU and Samsung brands. Went back to Samsung for the Ant+ feature and my Garmin watches. I've bought used flagship S4 and S5 Samsung models but they were unlocked from a carrier and this year I went ahead and bought the S8+ US version that is not tied to a carrier and no bloatware. So far is does not disappoint. I coming from a 2017 Samsung J7 and I went with the S8+ over the S8 simply because there wasn't that much of a difference in size between the J7 and S8+. The S8+ is a little longer but just a little short in width than the J7. I can still hold it in one and with my thumb on the the same hand hit most of the screen. The picture on the screen is great. You don't really notice the curved edges. No issues with hitting icons that are on the curve. Some of the little things that I like is that with my stereo it will read and link the volume to the phone with the stereo. So there is no turning up the stereo and realizing that the phone is turned down. It will turn up and down with the stereo, cool feature. I don't use the edge side screen yet. I'm sure I will, I've had the phone set up for about a week now and still playing with it. I also use the always on display that I haven't used with other phones in the past. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and also bought my wife the S8. The only negative I have is the battery life. It has the same mAh is my J7 and can normally get me though an entire day with no issues. Needless to say the screen is much bigger more ppi and I'm using always on display with would cause lower battery life. For the most part though at the end of the day I still have about 40% or a little under and this is with moderate usage. Great phone for the price and the one I bought was used or open box. With I could have bought new but all I really wanted was something with no bloatware. This is the newest flagship phone I've ever bought and so far I'm very happy with it.

I got my Galaxy S8 Plus as an upgrade from a Galaxy S7 Edge. The S8 Plus has a larger screen and gets better reception than the Edge. Programming is very similar and using smart switch it was simple to import all of my data and apps to the S8 in a matter of minutes. The battery lasts longer and seems to charge faster than the S7, although both can be charged wirelessly. All in all I am very happy with my Galaxy S8 PIus.

I like it very well, only problem I is with the keyboard, the letters and numbers close to the right edge especially the zero and letter p are very difficult to select. I am left handed so perhaps it is the angle from which I strike the key. I have changed to a different keyboard and the seems to work better for me. Also if I turned the phone horizontally then I did not have a problem with the keys.

I upgraded from an s7 active, and wasn't sure what to expect with no home button. Turns out you just hard press where the home button used to be to activate it. It also has amazing battery life. If you have service but don't use it it will use maybe 1 or 2% per hour. That is with Bluetooth, location, and WiFi on. It is the same size as the s7 with a much bigger screen.

Everyone knows the features of this phone so I'll just talk about personal use and what I think about it. This is the best phone I have ever owned, fast, with a wonderful screen and a battery that finally last all day long ! It's software is not perfect but it works well and is very easy to use. The quality of the photos is really exceptional. Really a great phone I would highly recommend !!!

With the large, beautiful screen, it's almost as good as a tablet for watching videos, and the onscreen keyboard is much easier to type on than most smartphones. One downside: the wraparound screen is easy to touch accidentally. Even with the large screen, it's comfortable to hold. The battery lasts all day, with plenty to spare after a full-length movie. A screen protector hurts touch sensitivity, but with a folio case I don't need one.

i got this phone it works excellent,it took some getting use toonly bad thing so far is when you are holding it it hit buttons you dont want to hit,its got pretty good inbourd memory,not the best but not bad,the processor is decently quick,the one thing that ive experience is that it does not get hot,the battery life is excellant,and it plays great videos with no issues,and takes excellant pictures.

One of the best Android phone (if not the best) in terms of value and functionality only bested by Samsung Galaxy S9 & S9+ & Note but those latest versions are far more expensive so again for value S8 and S8+ have no peers. The form factor, design and everything about it is one notch over Googles own Pixel 2.

Pondered on buying this because S10 was coming out in a week but so satisfied!! Besides a few extras like reverse wireless charging and the 4 extra cameras on S10 this phone is very similar!!! Great battery life, excellent camera, big screen, fast operation and many other features!!! Still a great phone in 2019!!! Much better than an iPhone lol.....

I purchased this phone to replace my S7 Edge, which I absolutely loved. After realizing that the S8 Plus was an Edge screen, I was tempted to upgrade. This Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus was even better than expected. The speed, intuition, battery life, camera, and Bixby have made me proud of my purchase. The Smart Switch was simple, also.

I enjoy the features of this phone. The battery life is just okay. I still have to charge through out the day. I am still learning about the features that are available because there are SO many! UPDATE: Phone is one month old and yesterday I had to charge it to 100% 2x and it still died over night. Terrible battery or phone. Not sure which. So I lowered my rating from 5 stars to 3.

The phone works as it should most of the time. Sometimes the screen freezes up and i have to power the phone off and back on before it will work.

First Look product is good when I started using battery life is very less. : I have not installed many apps but still battery life is less.

Too small wish to exchange for the next larger size even if it cost more I have not activated the phone

The phone is great, has a major problem though..... it doesn't work. Im returning the phone
